We are a non-profit-making club and we offer affordable, secure and enjoyable
playcare, both before and after school, and during some school holidays. After
being collected from School a quick register is taken to ensure everyone who
should be there is present, and then the children can get on with whatever they
choose.
We aim to provide children with a range of play activities which they can choose for themselves, and the opportunity to relax and be with friends out of school hours. As for their mums, dads and carers, we aim to enable local parents to return to, or stay in work, or take up training opportunities, free from childcare worries.
The club is open to all children who attend full-time primary education. We are registered with Social Services to provide 18 places, and we welcome applicants for places from any local families, although it is our policy to give priority to children who either attend Lothersdale School or who live in the village.
