Minutes of a Council Meeting on December 16, 2004, at 8.30pm in the Club House

1                  Declarations of interest. No declarations were made

2                  To receive and accept apologies for absence.  Apologies were received and accepted from Cllr Willetts.

3                  Questions from the floor.  There were no questions.

4                  Planning

1 Application received: 53/2004/4944 Conversion of existing barns to provide office areas with associated living accommodation, Hawshaw Lodge.  James Homes (Yorkshire) Ltd.

It was agreed to raise no objection to the application. However a request for planning gain was to be made; the village population could increase by up to 5% if the development went ahead and there would be increased pressure on village facilities.

5                  Items of minor information.  It was agreed to place a notice on village notice-boards explaining the reasons for the increase in the Parish Precept.
