12              Minor items for information

It was reported that Cllr Pat Fairbanks had investigated the missing dog waste bins and had been told by Craven District Council that Mrs June Barrow had sent a letter of objection. The bins would be replaced if the parish council found a suitable site.  The Clerk reported that he had asked Cllr Fairbanks to investigate if a compulsory purchase order could be obtained so that the bins could be positioned on suitable land. Mr and Mrs Wood were happy to have one bin placed next to the notice board on their land.

Cllrs felt that another bin should be placed on Quarry Road.

Cllr Willetts displayed a drawing of the proposed barbeque. It was suggested that natural stone should be used throughout the construction and that the fire service advice should be sought before a site was determined.
